I spent an hour or so one gray morning down in Arkansas driving back roads looking for interesting buildings in places I wouldn’t get shot at.
The sign used to read “Counts Grocery.” The smaller sign underneath says “R.H. Counts.”
I’ve been passing this house for 30 years on my way to Holla Bend National Wildlife Refuge. I can remember when it used to be lived in.
I think this barn is still being used. I know there is a tractor parked inside.
