I was really getting into birding by this time.  I put up feeders in my backyard and spent a lot of my free time staring out the window. 

I spotted this Hermit Thrush as it perched in the bushes in the backyard and walked on the ground.  It frequently slowly raised and lowered it rust-colored tail.
