Review - Bringing Up Baby
Hepburn, at her best, is annoying. Here she was almost intolerable. The movie was loud and made zero sense.

Description: | David (Cary Grant) is an anthropologist for a museum. He's engaged to be married. He goes golfing with a guy who represents a potential donor and, on the course, meets Susan (Katharine Hepburn), an eccentric woman who never stops talking. She decides she likes David, so one way and another she tricks him into coming to her apartment to meet her pet leopard, Baby. Next thing David knows, he's heading to Connecticut to bring the leopard to Katherine's aunt. There's all sorts of confusion with a wild leopard, muddy clothes, a big game hunter, and the police. In the end, it turns out that Katherine's aunt is the donor and she agrees to give the money to David—who also falls in love with Katherine. |
