Review - A Perfect Murder
A remake of Hitchcock's Dial M for Murder but with a much more complicated an implausible plot. Still, it wasn't an awful movie, just not great.

| Description: | A banker, Steven Taylor (Michael Douglas) finds out his wife Emily (Gwyneth Paltrow) is having an affair with an artist, David Shaw (Viggo Mortensen). He does some background checking and finds out that David has a criminal record for bilking women out of their money. His bank is about to go under, so he offers David $500,000 to keep his secret — if he kills Emily according to Steven's plan. David sends another man to do the dirty work, and Emily manages to kill him with a meat thermometer. David tries to blackmail Steven, but Steven tracks him down and kills him. Steven tells Emily about David, but she figures out that he was involved because of a mix-up with the keys. He grabs her to keep her from going to the police, but she shoots him. |
