White Wolf Cafe

On the Saturday after the CPC conference, five of us took a late flight back home so we could spend much of the day relaxing in Florida. Everybody has talents that set them apart from the crowd. One of my boss’s talents is to find restaurants that have excellent food and interesting decor. He didn’t fail us. He directed us to the White Wolf Cafe in the “Bohemian” section of Orlando, far, far from Disney World.

The cafe is also an antique store — chandeliers and Tiffany lamps hang from the ceiling and signs and architectural pieces decorate the walls. Some of the windows were stained glass.

The menu boasted of “best cinnamon buns in the universe,” so we ordered one of those and split it.

It was a bold claim, and I haven’t tried many cinnamon buns from other sectors of the universe, but it was in the top 20 of those I’ve had on earth. The eggs, bacon, and hash browns I ordered were also very tasty.
