Review - Son of the Morning Star

Well written and interesting, but Connell's writing style is a little exhausting. He works in tangents off of tangents off of tangents and may not get back to the main story for pages and pages. It's biography of the participants, history of the Indian wars, History of the Sioux campaign, cultural history, you name it.
