Review - Spring of the Ram, The

Like all her books, complicated but riveting. I read books 3 and 4 (Race of Scorpions and Scales of Gold) in the series also, but then quit because something happened at the end of the fourth book that made me feel like the author was manipulating me. I know that's strange — authors are supposed to manipulate their readers to keep them guessing and interested. But this plot twist was so sudden and unexpected that I found myself thinking that absolutely anything could happen and there were no rules.
