Review - Playing for Pizza
It's an interesting tale, with likeable characters, but it often reads more like a travel guide than a novel.

| Notes: | Rick Dockery is a third-string quarterback in the NFL whose career is in tatters. The only job he can land is in Italy, playing for the Parma team. It's culture shock, but Rick and his new teammates soon realize they have something special going on. In fact, they manage to win the Italian Super Bowl. As an added bonus, Rick meets Livvy, an American girl in no hurry to go home. |
