This is the novel that finally convinced me to stop reading Terry Pratchett. He is very clever, but his books all seem very similar and I find myself forgetting them immediately. Add to that the fact that I only have a vague idea what's actually happening and I frequently find his irreverence offensive. I no longer think that starting the series is a good reason to finish it.
