Review - Magic Wagon, The
I think it was supposed to be a tribute to dime-novel westerns, but mostly it was just silly.

| Notes: | The Magic Wagon is a medicine show. Billy Bob, trick-shot artist, claims to be the son of Wild Bill Hickock, but he's really the nephew of Albert, the Black driver. Buster is a 17-year-old kid befriended by Albert when his parents died. Rot Toe is a chimpanzee who wrestles all takers. Billy Bob gets riled when local gunfighter Texas Jack calls him out, and when he shoots and kills Texas Jack, he begins to think he's invincible. After he shoots the sheriff and the village idiot, Albert and Buster set out to stop him. Everyone is wounded, but just as Billy Bob is about to finish off Buster, Rot Toe shows up and drags Billy Bob to the top of a church steeple where they get hit by lightening and die. Albert and Buster live and go on with the show. |
