Notes:Two college guys, the author and his friend Don, hike into remote Alaska to climb the mountain named Deborah. Bad weather and inadequate provisions prevent them from reaching the peak. On the way out, Don falls into two crevasses on a glacier and bangs himself up pretty badly, but they make it back to civilization. Most of the time, they irritated each other and quarreled.

Review - Deborah: A Wilderness Narrative

Not badly written, but not a story worth telling either. Two guys bicker for two months as they try, and fail, to climb a mountain. How exciting.
