Review - Scrambles Amongst the Alps

A dry, very detailed account of Wymper's explorations, including his frustrations with other climbers, his thoughts on the science of glaciers, the building of a tunnel through the mountains from Italy to France and whatever else happens to occur to him while writing. He sounds like a bit of a jerk, and his constant descriptions of what mountains he could see from what point in his hikes was dull, dull, dull.
