Review - Case of the Black-eyed Blonde

Probably a higher rating than the book deserves. The first half was interesting enough, but then the plot just kept getting more and more complicated with people and events that had nothing to do with the main story. The associate who turned out to be the murder was a very minor character until the very end. After having just read a novel by William Makepeace Thackaray, the writing style here seemed very unsophisticated.
