Notes:Hondo Lane is a dispatch rider for the Army during an Apache uprising. He happens upon a woman, Angie, who lives alone with her six-year-old son, Johnny. The are left alone by the Apaches on the word of Vittoro, a chief who adopts Johnny (because he is impressed by the child's bravery). At the fort, Hondo gets in a fight with Angie's slacker husband and kills him. He returns to her home and is accepted by Vittoro as Angie's man. The army comes by and kills Vittoro, and Hondo, Angie, and Johnny head for California.

Review - Hondo

It could have been better, but it was written based on a John Wayne movie script and so, like movies, is abrupt in places and wraps up far too quickly instead of developing the suspense and plot.
