Travel essays, which were pretty good.
Humorous descriptions of something Perelman saw or did, which were hit or miss.
Reviews of old movies and books Perelman read or saw when he was a kid, which were pretty dull.
Humorous short scripts based on something Perelman heard on the news or saw in the paper. These were pretty universally stupid and I often struggled to stay interested enough to know what was going on.

For the final 150 pages, I skipped ahead if a piece didn't grab me quickly.
