Notes:Fallon is a gambler and gunfighter. While being chased by a posse on a trumped-up charge, he comes across a wagon train and convinces the members to travel with him to an abandoned town. Fallon sets out to improve the town as part of a scam to sell fake gold mine shares, but as time goes by and more people come, it becomes a real town, and Fallon has mixed feelings about leaving. When a band of bandits attack, Fallon and those loyal to him—and with the help of Ginia, a pretty young woman who was part of the original wagon train—manage to fight them off. Fallon is injured and unconscious for nine days. When he comes to, he finds that he's been elected mayor, that one of his mines actually has paid off so that he's wealthy, and Ginia is getting set to marry him.

Review - Fallon

Too many characters, too many plot threads, many of which go nowhere, too much time pretending Fallon was a bad guy when everything he did and the way he treated people made it obvious that he wasn't.
