Notes:Subtitle:An Infographic Baseball Adventure

A British guy discovers baseball, becomes a big fan, and writes a book about his trips to parks and about different aspects of the game illustrated as graphs. From what town in the lower U.S. is the furthest from a MLB field (Turner, Montana—647 miles) to salary per team to 100-win seasons to what direction a batter faces in each park—and a lot more.

Review - Flip Flop Fly Ball

The guy's a liberal and a jerk at times. Some of the graphs were interesting. Some were stupid. Some had way, way, way too much information and, even though the book was oversize, had type too small to read. Also, it was written 12 years ago and mostly covers about 10 years ending in 2010, so it was too old to be relevant and too constricted to be really interesting.
