A history of the comics issued by King Features, the syndicate organized and run by newspaperman William Randolph Hearst beginning in the late 1800's. Strips controlled by the syndicate included The Yellow Kid, Krazy Kat, through Prince Valiant, Hi and Lois, to Zits, and Family Circle.

Review - King of the Comics

Interesting to see all the old comics. The "gag a day" strips were fun, but to see one or two panels from the middle of a serial strip wasn't terribly rewarding. Also, although the book was fairly large, the print on most of the strips was so small that they were difficult to read.
