| Notes: | Lucille runs a temp service. When none of her secretaries can bear the Professor, she takes on his job—typing and inventorying his mother's belongings. He is eccentric, but she's looking for a way to delay her own engagement. A Parisian art dealer shows up looking for missing paintings. And a young woman named Barbara shows up looking for her fiancé who stole the family China. Lucille finishes the job and goes to Paris to run her aunts shop. Soon the art dealer, the Professor, and Barbara all show up. It turns out that Lucille's ex, who is also Barbara's fiancé, and also is the one who has the missing paintings. It's too convoluted to explain, but Lucille ends up dumping the guy who wants to marry her and marries the Professor. |
