More newspaper and magazine articles on the Vietnam War, including some pieces on the war in Cambodia and the war in Vietnam after the U.S. troops were removed. The second half of the volume is the book Dispatches, by Michael Herr, a journalist for Esquire magazine who wrote an almost stream-of-consciousness account of the country, the battles, the soldiers, and his fellow journalists.

Review - Reporting Vietnam Part Two

It took me a while to get through this volume. It was depressing to realize what the war did to people or brought out in people. Herr, in his book, frequently mentioned that he was on a variety of drugs, and his writing often reflects that.
