Description:When convict Everett (George Clooney) finds out his wife (Holly Hunter) is about to marry another man, he breaks away from the chain gang, dragging along the two men he's chained too — Pete (John Turturro) and Delmar (Tim Blake Nelson). They meet up with the KKK, scheming politicians, a relentless sheriff, sirens who turn Pete in for the bounty, Big Dan (John Goodman) who steals the money they were given by Pretty Boy Floyd. They also sing at a radio station they pass and become a big hit. Based on the Odyssey.

Review - O Brother, Where Art Thou?

I finally made it all the way through the movie after two previous tries. I can't say it does a great deal for me, but I found parts of it mildly amusing and liked a few of the blue grass songs.
