Review - Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Wallace and Gromit run the Anti-Pesto protection service, keeping rabbits away from everyone’s vegetables. The annual Giant Vegetable Competition is coming up at Lady Tottington’s, and everyone is worried about their crop. When the numbers of rabbits increases beyond the pair’s capacity to store them, Wallace attempts to brainwash the rabbits with his anti-vegetable thoughts. The experiment, supplemented with lunar light, goes haywire. Shortly thereafter, a giant rabbit is seen rampaging around the town.
Wallace has fallen for Lady Tottington, which upsets her beau, Victor Quartermaine. He sets out to stop Wallace, but in the process observes Wallace himself turn into the were-rabbit. He gets the magic gold bullets and sets out to destroy the giant beast. Gromit springs to the rescue with the help of the rabbit in the experiment, which is becoming more and more like Wallace. When the were-rabbit shows up at the competition and grabs Lady Tottington, the crowd rises and chases it. Gromit grabs Quartermaine and sticks him in a giant rabbit costume to distract the crowd. Wallace reverts to himself. Lady Tottington turns her manor into a rabbit sanctuary.
The claymation was amazing. The story was cute and clever.
