Review - Teaching Mrs. Tingle
Leigh Ann needs top student honors to get into college. History teacher Mrs. Tingle is jealous and gives her a low grade to keep her in the no-account small town they live in. Luke likes Leigh Ann and steals the history test final answers for her, but she doesn't want them. Before she can destroy them, Mrs. Tingle finds her and intends to tell the principle. The two students, with Leigh Ann's friend Jo Lynn go to Mrs. Tingle's house to reason with her, but things get out of hand and Mrs. Tingle struggles with them and gets knocked out. They tie her to her bed and keep her there for a couple days while trying to figure out what to do with her. Mrs. Tingle plays the friends off against one another and makes them have a falling out. But things work out OK in the end. Mrs. Tingle escapes and tries to shoot Leigh Ann with a crossbow. Instead she shoots her teacher's-pet student. The teacher's pet is OK, but before anybody knows this, Mrs. Tingle confesses to killing her and deliberately flunking Leigh Ann. Mrs. Tingle is fired and Leigh Ann gets top honors. The friends are friends again.
OK, but the ending is weak. There's no way the students would get off free, in spite of what happened.
