Description:Wealthy 15-year-old Winnie Foster (Alexis Bledel) hates having to be a proper lady. She runs away into the woods where she meets Jesse Tuck (Jonathan Jackson). He's drinking by a spring but won't let her. Then his brother Miles shows up, grabs Winnie and takes her back to his parents Angus and Mae (William Hurt and Sissy Spacek). Turns out that the spring has given the Tucks eternal life. Winnie and Jesse fall in love. A con man (Ben Kingsley) tracks them down and threatens to kill Winnie if they don't take him to the spring. Mae kills him. The Tucks have to flee. Jesse begs Winnie to find the spring and drink from it, and that he would come back. When he does, he finds her grave — she decided that living life was more important than never dying.

Review - Tuck Everlasting

A fun premise, and one that makes you think. Certainly, from a Biblical perspective, eternal life in this world would be no draw.
