Description:A mix of live action and cartoons set in L.A. in 1947. Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) is a washed up detective who is convinced to help Roger Rabbit, a popular cartoon star who has been framed for murder. Eddie doesn't know whether to trust Roger's voluptuous wife, Jessica who tells him "I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way." It turns out that Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) really committed the murder in a plot to wipe out Toon Town and replace it with franchise joints (like modern L.A.). Eddie gains the upper hand when he discovers that Doom is really a toon himself.

Review - Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

It's a bit too loud and chaotic for my taste, but the combination of live action and cartooning and the cameos by famous cartoon characters from all the major studios was fun.
