Description:Jeremy Taylor, a young writer/editor (Joshua Jackson) travels to Italy to find novelist Weldon Parish (Harvey Keitel) and convince him to write another book. Parish hasn't written in years, since his wife died, and professes to have no interest. Jeremy manages to strike up a relationship,and Parish encourages and challenges the young writer. In the end, Parish is inspired to write again. Jeremy falls in love with Parish's daughter Isabella (Claire Forlani) and decides to stay in Italy and write.

Review - Shadow Dancer, The

I'm not sure why, but this movie just missed. The characters were pretty well cast, the scenery was beautiful and the story was interesting, particularly since I'm a writer. But it all came together a bit to patly and just wasn't satisfying at the end.
