Description:Benjamin Blake (Tyrone Power), the son of a nobleman is enslaved by his uncle, Sir Arthur Blake (George Sanders) who is afraid of losing his estate. When Benjamin is discovered kissing his cousin Isabel (Frances Farmer), he is beaten by Sir Arthur. He runs away and boards a ship. He jumps off with another soldier and lands on a Pacific island. While collecting a fortune in pearls, Benjamin meets a native girl, Eve (Gene Tierney). He returns to England where he, with the help of a lawyer, proves his right to the estate. When he finds out that Isabel double-crossed him, he gives the estate to the servants and returns to Eve.

The characters were likeable, but the movie was silly. Sal and I had a great time laughing in places where we weren't intended to laugh. Gene Tierney had about three lines in English and looked like she hadn't eaten in three months.
