Description:Bad guys plan on sending a missle crashing into an atomic bomb test site and starting World War III. For reasons not explained, retired agent Matt Helm (Dean Martin) is the only one who can stop him. He drags along Gail (Stella Stevens) whom he thinks is an enemy agent, but she turns out to be innocent. Of course, Helm manages to infiltrate the underground HQ of the enemy and foil the plot and get the girl.

Review - Silencers, The

I know it was a parody of James Bond, but even as a parody, it was pathetic. Martin was unconvincing. He appeared to be drunk throughout — in one scene, he's even drinking whiskey while he's driving. Overdone and stupid.
