Review - Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead

Two childhood friends of Hamlet are called to the castle to see if they can discover what has driven the Prince mad. They don't understand their role or what is happening around them, or why, in the end, they end up getting hung.

The overall story isn't really the point. The byplay between the two characters (played by Gary Oldman and Tim Roth) is often hilarious, even when it's hard to know what's going on.
