Description:Nick Charles (William Powell) and his wife Nora (Myrna Loy) travel to Nick's hometown to visit his parents. Everyone assumes he's on a case, and one soon shows up on his doorstep when a young painter is shot. There are all the usual red herrings and complications, but in the end, Nick proves that the local doctor shot the boy who was revealing his part in a plot to steal the plans for new technology from a local plant.

Review - Thin Man Goes Home, The

All the obvious bad guys turn out to be friends of Nick and the respectable folk turn out to be criminals. Myrna Loy flounces around in fancy dresses trying to keep up with her husband. The movies are mildly amusing, but instantly forgettable.
