| Description: | Lafe (Errol Flynn) leads a band of seven Confederate soldiers into California late in the war to try to drum up army. The person who promised to meet him proves unfaithful. Lafe and his men ward off an Indian attack on a stagecoach and inside discover Johanna (Patrice Wymore), the fiancee of a Union cavalry officer. When the officer comes out looking for her, Lafe captures him and his men. The officer escapes, but soon the Indians are attacking. Lafe leads them away so Johanna can escape, and by the time the cavalry catches up, all eight Confederates are dead. |
