Review - Australia
The characters were rather one-dimensional, especially the evil Fletcher, and the large scenes looked like paintings. It was almost an enjoyable movie, but not quite.

| Description: | Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman) travels to Australia just before the breakout of WWII to sell her husband's cattle ranch. When she gets pushed by the local cattle baron, she decided to stick around and with the help of Drover (Hugh Jackman) and a bunch of misfits, she drives her cattle to market. Along the way, she adopts a young boy who is half-white, half-Aborigine. The evil Fletcher tries to thwart them at every point. Then the Japanese attack. Sarah, Drover and the boy are separated, but they find each other and reunite at Sarah's ranch. |
