| Description: | Luis Costa (Alain Chabat) is 43 and tired of his mother and five sisters bugging him to get married. He hires Emma (Charlotte Gainsbourg) the sister of his friend, to pretend to be his fiancee and then dump him at the altar. He plans on faking heartbreak and figures this will get his family to quit bugging him. They all love Emma, and when she doesn't show up for the wedding, Luis' mother has a heart attack. He gets Emma to come back, then comes up with a new plan. This time she will make his family hate her so they will forbid the marriage. This works, but by this time, Luis has fallen for Emma himself. He finally decides to stick up for himself and marries her. |
