Amazing animation and good characters with enough humor to keep me chuckling throughout. I went to see it with a group from work for Nicole Bunger's birthday.

| Description: | Princess Rapunzel is kidnapped and kept in a tower by wicked Mother Gothel, who needs the magical properties of Rapuzel's hair to keep her young. Thief Flynn Ryder, fleeing from arrest after robbing the castle, happens upon the tower. Rapunzel clocks him with a frying pan and hides the loot. When Flynn comes to, Rapunzel makes him a deal. He can have the loot back if he takes her to see the floating lanterns (sent up every year on Rapunzel's birthday in honor of the lost princess). After a series of adventures, they make it to the city to see the show and, of course, fall in love. But Flynn is arrested and Rapunzel is recaptured by Mother Gothel. Flynn escapes and rushes to the tower. Mother Gothel stabs him, then falls from the tower to her death. Rapunzel's tears restores Flynn and they live happily ever after. |
