| Description: | In the tiny town of Paradise, Michigan, a bunch of buddies send for a mail-order bride from the Ukraine for their friend Jake who is in jail for drunk driving. When Viktoria (Natalia Nazarova) arrives, she wants no part of Jake, but she has to stay in town till she earns the money to get back home. She lives with Reenie, the bartender. Soon Viktoria makes friends with everyone in town and her kind ways force some of the, including Jake and Reenie to reassess their priorities. In the end, Jake finds Reenie a job in a vet's office and sponsers her so she can stay in town. |
