Review - Paper Man
A very odd movie with some uncomfortable spots, but intriguing throughout.

| Description: | Richard Dunn (Jeff Daniels) is a middle-aged novelist who has never grown up. He has a domineering, successful wife (Lisa Kudrow) and an imaginary, super-hero friend (Ryan Reynolds). Dunn rents a cabin on Martha's Vinyard to write a novel about the last Heath Hen, but he can't get past the first word — the main character's name. He meets Abby, a lonely teen who can't get past the death of her twin sister and who has an imaginary friend of her own. The two form a strange friendship and help each other learn to begin coping with life. By the time he leaves, Richard and Abby have both gotten rid of their imaginary friends and Richard has come to realize that his novel is his own story. |
