The animation was good and the movie had life, but it doesn't make my list of favorites.

| Description: | Blu is a blue macaw raised in a bookstore in Minnesota by Linda. One day, Rafael, an ornithologist shows up and asks if Linda would bring Blu to Brazil to mate with Jewel, the only female blue macaw in the world. Linda reluctantly agrees. Poachers break into the lab and steal the two birds and chain them together. They manage to escape, but that's when Blu reveals that he never learned to fly. They have all sorts of adventures, aided by other birds, and in the process fall in love. In the end, Blu has to fly to save Jewel. Linda and Rafael fall in love and all live happily ever after. |
