Description:It's 2020, and in the world of boxing, men have been replaced by robots. Ex-fighter Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) hangs on to the fringes of the sport with a bunch of old robots. His only supporter is Bailey Tallet (Evangeline Lilly). Charlie finds out his old girlfriend has died, leaving their 11-year-old son Max (Dakota Goyo). Charlie doesn't want the kid but gets stuck with him for a summer. Max finds an old sparring robot and the two begin fighting it, finally getting a chance at the undefeated champ. Max's robot malfunctions during the bout, and Charlie has to control it by mirroring the moves he wants the robot to make. The champ is saved by the bell, but the crowd knows Charlie and Max's robot really won the day.

Review - Real Steel

Pretty silly, and I found it hard to get too attached to a robot, but otherwise it had some endearing characters and the classic underdog fights the champ sports plot.
