| Description: | Navy Lt. Larry Kingslee (Peter Lawford) is obsessed with movie star Rosalind Rennolds (Esther Williams). He gets himself attached to a movie she's making as an adviser and pilot. When she refuses to dance with him, he kidnaps her and flies her to the island where he saw her do a show during the war. Natives steal the planes wheels, so they can't leave and have to spend the night. They're rescued the next morning, Larry is arrested. Rosalind goes to the Navy base and defends Larry. This angers her fiance Ricardo (Ricardo Montalban) and he dumps her and almost immediately takes up with another actress Yvonne (Cyd Charisse). Rosalind and Larry end up together, of course. |
