Description:Paul Biegler (James Stewart) defends Lt. Manion (Ben Gazzara), who shot a bartender who supposedly raped his wife Laura (Lee Remick). By pretending to be a country bumpkin, Biegler manages to introduce enough evidence to get his client off on the basis of temporary insanity. But there's reason to believe Manion knew exactly what he was doing and that Laura wasn't telling the whole story.

Review - Anatomy of a Murder

Jimmy Stewart was great, especially in the courtroom scenes. I found myself rooting for him while at the same time agreeing with the prosecution, which was exactly what I was supposed to do.
