I always felt like Maris' 61 was the record, even during the years when it had an asterisk. If an asterisk is needed on any records, it's on Bonds and the others who only beat Maris by cheating. If this movie is close to how it really was, I'm now a Maris fan. The movie probably went on too long, but it was well made.
