Tediously long. I could only tell a few of the characters apart, mostly because the plot gave me no reason to pay more attention or care for any of them. The acting was, for the most part, awful. The action scenes were frenetic and unrealistic. The bad bald wigs on most of the characters made them all look like clowns. How this movie has won its reputation is beyond me. Perhaps things were done that hadn't been done before. Perhaps. But they've all been done so often, and so much better since, that this movie can have no appeal except to historians and those who claim to like things only because they've been told they're supposed to.
