| Description: | Wendell Armbruster, Jr. (Jack Lemmon) flies to Italy to pick up the corpse of his father who died in a car accident. Along the way he meets Englishwoman Pamela Piggott (Juliet Mills) and finds out that his father was having an affair with her mother—meeting in Italy for one month every year for 10 years. During the time it took to make all the arrangements, Wendell and Pamela get to know each other and decide to continue the tradition. |
