Pleasant, but slow-moving and a bit simplistic. Hanks did a good job of portraying Mr. Rogers convincingly.

| Description: | Journalist Lloyd Vogel (Matthew Rhys) is given the assignment of interviewing Mr. Rogers (Tom Hanks). At the same time, Lloyd is struggling personally because his father Jerry (Chris Cooper), who he hates, is trying to reconcile. Mr. Rogers figures out Lloyd has problems and befriends him. Eventually the influence of Mr. Rogers convinces Lloyd to forgive his father before dies. Lloyd writes an essay on Mr. Rogers as a hero, and it's a huge hit. |
