Review - Portrait of Jennie
Corny and dull. It was weird how, at the end, they tinted the screen green and then red.

| Description: | Eben Adams (Joseph Cotten) is a starving artist. He meets a mysterious young girl named Jennie (Jennifer Jones) and is inspired to sketch her. Gallery owner (Ethel Barrymore) sees it and encourages Adams in his work. Every couple of months, he sees Jennie again, but she's always older. He figures out she's from the past, and that she died in a storm. He goes to where she died and tried to save her but fails. His portrait of her is bought by a museum, and he goes on to be a great artist. |
