| Description: | Sid (John Raitt), superintendent of a pajama factory falls in love with union representative Babe (Doris Day). All goes well until the union demands a 7.5 cent raise and threatens to go on strike. The contention gets in the way of romance until Sid proves to his boss that giving the workers a raise will actually save the company money. |
