Description:Barbara Skelton (Margaret Lockwood) steals her best friend's husband Ralph, them, bored with her life as a lady, becomes a highwayman to steal jewels. She meets famous highwayman Jerry Jackson (James Mason) and becomes his partner and lover. Along the way, she has to start killing people to keep her secret. She even betrays Jackson to the law. He barely escapes hanging, so she kills him too. In the end, she finds true love with a friend of her husband's, Locksby, but in order to be with him, she tries to kill her husband. Locksby, not knowing who she is, kills her to protect Ralph.

Review - Wicked Lady, The

Goofy melodrama with passionate performances by Lockwood and Mason that made it worth watching. But it was kinda hard to keep track of who was in love with whom.
