Description:Terry Scott (Ginger Rogers) and David Campbell (Dennis Morgan) are both chosen as jurors in a murder trial about a man who allegedly pushed his wife off a cliff so he could marry his mistress. Terry and David fall in love—she's married but separated, he's married with kids. They enjoy their flirtation during the trial but after they convince the rest of the jurors that the defendant is not guilty (because, after all, they're in an extra-marital affair and haven't murdered anyone) and the trial is over, they decide to go back to their spouses and not hurt anyone.

Review - Perfect Strangers

The parts about the trial were more interesting than the parts about the affair (if that's what you can call it when the two parties are on a sequestered jury and can't do more than talk and steal the occasional kiss). The two people fell for each other ridiculously quickly without any apparent reason. Ginger did the best she could with her part, but her character was without an excuse. The ending—where they decided to go back to their spouses and not cause anyone pain—seemed to create four miserable people.
