Description:Charlie (Martin Freeman) has a health problem that causes him to faint when he gets too happy. He has learned how to deal with life without joy. Then he meets Francesca (Morena Baccarin) and falls for her. He asks her out, but their first date ends with him fainting, falling down steps, and in the emergency room. He breaks off with her, but sets her up with his brother, Cooper, so he can be around her. This works for a while, but Cooper isn't Francesca's type of guy. Finally Charlie and Francesca decide to go for it and get together.

I liked the characters of Charlie and especially Francesca, but they weren't together for much of the movie and it's never explained how they ever can be.
