Description:Amber (Elizabeth Roberts) rolls into town on a whim and rents an apartment above an antique store owned by Clay (the director). She's surprised by his determination to never be alone with a woman before marriage, but she's compelled to get to know him better. They begin spending time together, but Clay can't forgive himself for his earlier life and doesn't think he deserves Amber. She gets frustrated and is about to leave town when Clay finally gets his act together and proposes.

It had good values, but the character of Clay was hard to like because he spent most of his life staring off into the distance and was boring. Roberts was amazing as Amber, although it was impossible to believe she'd be attracted to somebody so dull.
